On the 2nd of July a unique festival of folk art was held in Ivye. The holiday was dedicated to Vyshyvanka (embroidery).
Vyshyvanka is a traditional Belarusian pattern that adorns clothes or another thing. This pattern is a kind of message from our ancestors.
The event began with a theatrical presentation of Belarusian holidays, a defile in folk costumes. In addition, everyone could join the action "Under the flag in Vyshyvanka", where everyone was tied up a ribbon with a national pattern on hand.
The concert creative program pleased the guests too.
The audience sang along to the artists, drew patterns and took photos. A game program was organized for children.
Next to the stage worked mater of folk art and willingly taught children and adults on their mater-classes.
