At the end of June, reconstructed water facilities were erected with the installation of a deironing station and a local wastewater treatment plant in the town of Ivye. The events were held within the framework of the training seminar "Technologies for sewage treatment and water supply in small towns and rural areas". Belarusian and foreign experts presented their technologies at water supply and water disposal enterprises, shared many years of experience.
The official opening ceremony of the station was attended by Elena Rakova, project coordinator of the Delegation of the European Union in Belarus, who noted how important the commissioning of these water facilities is. She noted that due to this, not only social, but also economic and energy-saving effects will be achieved. Project coordinator also thanked the leadership of the Ivye region for active participation in this important project.
Director of Housing and utilities Alexander Shlyahotka said that the main goal of the reconstruction was the provision of high-quality drinking water, in particular iron, the population of Ivye. He also emphasized that due to the fact that the frequency equipment is used on pumping equipment, according to preliminary calculations, the energy saving per year will be about 1500 kW of energy.
