The most important and significant event last week was the celebration of the big anniversary. Our region has celebrated its 80th anniversary.
Our region has come a long and difficult path, during we lived, worked, studied, gained experience. 80 years for history is a relatively short period. However, the past years, decades were a period of formation and strengthening of the region’s economy, the development of agriculture, the social sphere, and the improvement of the quality of life of our people.
We are proud of the history of the region, our great countrymen. First of all the region’s birthday is a celebration of those who created it, those who took the baton and took responsibility for its future fate. Ivye region for us is not just a place of residence. This is a common house, uniting people of different fates, characters, generations into a single whole, and together we must preserve and increase everything that was created by the hands of our predecessors.
The solemn event, which took place in the center of culture of Ivye, marked our love for the past, present and future.
Our land has survived its unique history. This is a wonderful place where Belarusians, Poles, Russians, Jews and Tatars have been living peacefully for centuries.
Representatives of the Ivyevsky district administration awarded diplomas and thanks to people who contributed to the development of agriculture, culture, education, medicine and other areas.
Much attention was paid to the recollections of World War II.
The hall was attended by internationalist warriors and people who helped restore and renew life in our region. Also at the festival was attended by World War II veteran Nikolai Danilov.
Veterans of rural labor and athletes were also marked with memorable souvenirs.
Honorary citizens of the Ivye also rose to the stage. These are people who glorified our region with their talent and work. Also, guests of the festival received video greetings from those honorary citizens who could not attend the concert.
Not a single holiday is complete without the performances of our talented artists: vocalists, music and dance groups.
