This is another one center for additional education for children. The task is to cultivate them as researchers and inventors, and load into science.
Today we offer for children three ways: “Green Chemistry”, “Information and computer technologies”, “Robotic technology”. Classes are held in laboratory areas of BSU, BSUIR, BNTU, - clarifies Sergey Sachko. - In the future, we will have 15 new programs.
Is it easy for a child to get into the technopark?
An application for training can be submitted by the winner of the national or international Olympiad or by someone who offers their own research project. Research project will be considered by an expert commission. If the project is worthy, the young author will go to testing. And only then the interview. After that, the student will finally decide the direction.
What do with skipping classes?
Shifts open every month and last for up to 24 days. Children come to Minsk with an individual plan agreed with the administration of the educational institution. The children study all school subjects, they are assisted and advised by teachers of the BNTU lyceum. After the end of the shift, young researchers receive an extract with marks and return to their schools
Where do children live during their studies?
The technopark is located in Minsk on Slavinsky Street, 12. Lodge guys in technohostel — one of the hostels BNTU.
When the entire educational complex will be built?
According to the idea, the National Children's Technopark will consist of three objects. One of them – is secondary school. Besides, the technopark will have its own large laboratory building, which is already under construction. A hostel is also planned, where there will be not only rooms for guests, but also an assembly hall, a cafe, and sports areas. All these objects are planned to be implemented by the end of 2022, — Sergey Sachko notes.
