This year, our town had the honor of receiving guests for the holiday of agricultural workers!
In Belarus, this day is called "Dazhynki." This word means the rite of ending the harvest.
Many years ago, the first "Dozhinki" by modern standards was a very modest holiday. But its main events have survived to this day: the celebration of grain growers, the agricultural fair and exhibition, and merry concerts. There will be many interesting events in the town of Ivye. For example, an exhibition showing dogs of hunting breeds, a performance of an equestrian club, an exhibition of sculptures, master classes, many sports games and competitions, and even a sightseeing tour by helicopter.
The event will take place on November 17 and will bring together guests from all of the Grodno region.
